Once upon a Drizzle

Drizzle is the brainchild of friends Laurens Muylle, Roel Engelen and Matthias Pletinckx, born from a shared craving to make every meal feel a little more special, without spending hours in the kitchen. Together, they set out in search of versatile food toppings: easy to use, yet full of complex flavour.

They found inspiration in Chinese chili crisp, a crunchy chili oil made with fried bits of onion and garlic. Batch after batch, the three experimented with unexpected flavour combinations such as star anise and sumac, alongside Sichuan pepper and piment d’Espelette. Cooking, tasting, refining, adjusting, and starting all over again.
A little over a year later, three crispy chili oils emerged from their kitchen: Crunchy Classic, Nummy Nutty and Supreme Spicy.

And they did not stop there. With their Hot Honey, they added a new flavour maker to the range: a rich, smooth honey with a spicy kick from fermented chilies and a touch of apple cider vinegar, perfect for elevating both savoury and sweet dishes.
